We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Manager to join our world class credit team, based in our new UK Head Office on the prestigious Capability Green Business Park in Luton. Home to our Finance, HR, IT, Marketing and Legal teams you will be joining our experts who are the cogs that work in the background to ensure everything runs smoothly for our operational business

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and developing a team of 8 to deliver cash collection and credit risk through increased use of systems and processes
  • Ensure a culture of effective working relationships, close collaboration and communication is developed and maintained across the CPE teams in finance and operations
  • Assist the Senior Credit Manager in achieving cash collection targets and debt levels
  • Assist in ensuring cash received is posted and allocated in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conduct ledger reviews bi monthly at a desired location for our branches to support the credit controllers to ensure timely collection of the due and overdue debt, timely query resolution, unpaid perm invoices and risk for CPE clients
  • Manage effectively through day to day support and conduct regular 1-2-1's and ledger/performance reviews for each credit controller
  • Large complex reconciliations completed for key accounts
  • Conduct client visits where needed and in conjunction with operational staff
  • Attend weekly risk register and top 20 calls to discuss debts at Directors level
  • Identify opportunities for process, product and service improvements, following agreed CI methodology
  • Contribute to improvement projects as requested by management
